The Efficiency and Washing Quality of the Tunnel Washer System

The CLM steam-heated tunnel washer system can process 1.8 tons of linen per hour from washing to the end of drying. Here, it doesn’t merely refer to washing every hour, but rather to washing and drying (towels) or separating (bed sheets, quilt covers). Meanwhile, the heavy-duty press in the CLM tunnel washer system can operate at a pressure of up to 47 Pascals. Such a high dehydration rate also enhances the efficiency of subsequent drying and ironing, laying the foundation for overall high efficiency.

● The entire tunnel washer system consists of a loading conveyor, a tunnel washer, heavy-duty water extraction presses, shuttle conveyors, and tumble dryers. The connection between each device is controlled by a computer system, and each process is seamlessly connected to ensure the efficiency of the entire production line.

● In terms of the design of washing cleanliness, the washing parameters and processes of the linen are all controlled by computers, so the entire washing process is a standardized procedure.

The main washing chambers of the CLM tunnel washer have all been insulated to reduce heat loss, which can keep the main washing temperature between 75 and 80℃ all the time, ensuring that the detergents can fully exert their decontamination effect.

Mechanical force is a factor affecting the washing effect. The swing angle of the CLM tunnel washer is 235°, and the frequency reaches 11 times per minute. A reasonable mechanical force design can not only effectively remove dirt but also not damage the linen.

In addition, CLM’s counter-current rinsing technology and the lint filtration system can further enhance the cleanliness of the linen and ensure the washing quality.

The Efficiency of the Ironing Line and the Quality of Ironing

Ruijinyuan Laundry currently has a CLM 6-roller 650 ironing line and a CLM 6-roller 800 ironing line. This month, it purchased another 8-roller 650 high-speed ironing line.

❑ The CLM 8-roller 650 ironing line is composed of a four-station spreading feeder, an ironer, and a folder. The efficiency of the entire laundry plant is often determined by the efficiency of the post-wash finishing section.

❑ The CLM spreading feeder is designed with 4 workstations. Each workstation is equipped with two sets of fabric feeding clips, and there are two sets of fabric receiving clips on the slide rail. There is always one set in the waiting position, allowing for seamless fabric feeding and receiving.

❑ The drying cylinder of the CLM ironer is made of high-quality carbon steel for boilers, which has better thermal conductivity. The linen wrapping angle reaches 270 degrees. A large wrapping angle means that the contact area between the linen and the drying cylinder is larger, and the ironing drying efficiency is also higher. The wall thickness of the drying cylinder reaches 12mm, capable of withstanding a steam pressure of 1MPa. It is not only safer but also has a large heat storage capacity, ensuring uniform heating of the linen. The ironing speed can reach 60 meters per minute.

❑ The operating speed of the CLM rapid folder can also reach 60 meters per minute, which can be well coordinated with the spreading feeder and the ironer to achieve efficient work.

Flatness

In terms of flatness, both the spreading feeder and the ironer have corresponding flatness designs.

❑ When the spreading feeder is feeding linen, the linen will go through three processes: being patted by the suction air cylinder, being smoothed on both sides by the brush, and being flattened by the coarse cloth belt, which lays a foundation for the flatness of the subsequent ironing.

❑ The drying cylinder of the CLM ironer is treated with anti-rust grinding, with a smooth and flat surface that is not prone to residual chemical materials. The drying cylinder adopts a double-sided ironing design, which enables both sides of the linen to be fully heated, especially the quilt cover. Not only can it improve the flatness of ironing, but also enhance the ironing efficiency. In addition, the tension bands of the CLM ironer are all equipped with automatic adjustment devices, which can automatically adjust the tension degree to keep the tension of the ironing band consistent and avoid the appearance of ironing band marks.

All the designs and detailed treatments of the CLM ironing line can effectively ensure the quality and efficiency of ironing.
