Can the Return Water Pipelines of Multiple Ironers in A Laundry be Connected in Parallel?

If a laundry plant has multiple ironers, can you directly use the return water pipelines? The answer is yes. However, you still need to pay attention to some questions. Today, we will share some experiences of laundry plants in China with you.
The main role of the ironers’ return water pipelines are to drain the steam condensate water in time and make sure the cleanliness and high efficiency of the inner ironer. Generally, the return water pipeline is used solely so that the condensate water can be drained immediately. This will avoid the situation that late drainage of condensate water lead to low-temperature heating drum and lower ironing speed.
If a laundry plant has multiple ironers, can the return water pipelines be connected in parallel? This answer is also yes.

We’ve known that some laundry plants with several ironers have to connect the return water pipelines of multiple ironers in parallel in a pipe to drain water because of the restricted condition of their plants. This requires us to enlarge the diameter of the drainage pipeline and ensure the timely drainage of return water, avoiding having an impact on the ironers’ temperature and speed when ironers are operating.
An individual ironer’s return water pipeline is DN40. If two such ironers’ return water pipelines are connected in parallel to one pipeline, then the pipeline should be DN65 or above.
All the above are the experiences from laundry plants in China. We hope you find this helpful!
