CLM Focuses on AI Intelligence R&D in Q1, Building an Unmanned Laundry Ecosystem

March has come to an end. It marks a successful conclusion of the first quarter of 2026. As the Awakening of Insects (one of the 24 traditional Chinese solar terms) marks the beginning of the New Year, and spring deepens, all things grow towards the sun. CLM also sets off on a new journey with great enthusiasm and strong momentum.

With the quick development of artificial intelligence technology, the laundry industry is undergoing a profound intelligent transformation. CLM closely follows the trend of AI development. We take technological innovation as the core driving force, and continuously increase investment and make key breakthroughs in the field of product research and development. CLM injects strong momentum into the industrial upgrading and transformation of the laundry sector.

 AI technology

In Q1, CLM fully promoted the R&D of the Automatic Soiled Linen Sorting System. Powered by AI visual recognition technology, the system precisely grasps linen items, efficiently identifies and conveys categories such as bed sheets, quilt covers, and towels. This greatly reduces manual labor at the front end of laundry plants. Intelligent equipment replaces repetitive and heavy physical work. Meanwhile, R&D of the Unattended Towel Feeding System has been accelerated. This further supports laundries in their upgrade to low-manpower and unmanned operations. It achieves efficient and precise management and effectively reduces overall operating costs.

The CLM foreign trade team also delivered an outstanding performance. With an average age of just 26, this young team, through unity, collaboration, and enterprising spirit, helped set new records in both order volume and total value for the CLM and Kingstar brands. This lays a solid foundation for the year’s development. We look forward to continued breakthroughs and greater achievements from this dynamic team.

CLM has been deeply involved in the laundry industry for over two decades and has a profound understanding of the industry’s pain points in traditional laundry factories, such as complex management, high reliance on manual labor, high operating costs, and difficulty in improving efficiency. Today, with the widespread application of linen chips and the mature use of AI, intelligence has become the core direction of industrial upgrading. CLM keeps deeply integrating AI into laundry equipment R&D and system upgrades, and helping laundries build low-manpower and unmanned intelligent facilities. By replacing repetitive heavy labor with intelligent equipment and robotics, labor costs are greatly reduced. Laundry efficiency, quality consistency, and overall operational efficiency are comprehensively improved.

As spring surges and momentum builds, we set sail for a new journey. The excellent results of Q1 are not only a starting point but also a driving force. CLM will continue to forge ahead with youthful vitality and technological strength, and adhere to craftsmanship and persistent innovation. Riding the wave of intelligence in the laundry industry, we will empower industrial upgrading with AI technology and strive to write a new chapter of higher-quality development!
