Differences between roller ironers and chest ironers

The ironing quality reflects the quality of the whole laundry factory because the flatness of ironing and folding can most directly reflect the quality of washing. In terms of flatness, the chest ironer has better performance than the high-speed ironer.
❑ For laundry factories
Efficiency and energy saving are also very important parts of the operation, in spite of flatness. Though the chest ironer has good flatness, its ironing speed is low and it has a high demand for steam pressure. If the water content of linen is high after washing, it also needs to be pre-dried in the dryer before ironing.
The slow speed means that more equipment expenditure and labor cost expenditure are needed to achieve timely delivery for a large laundry plant. So, is there a fast and flat ironing line?
CLM roller&chest ironer
CLM roller+chest ironers can realize the goal of being fast, smooth and flat. Several characteristics of it in terms of speed and flatness are as follows.
High water evaporation efficiency and fast running speed
CLM roller & chest ironer is a roller chest combination ironing machine composed of two groups of roller drying cylinders with a diameter of 650mm and two flexible ironing slots. Linen first enters the roller ironer and then enters the roller ironer.
● The entrance of the ironer is designed with 4 pressing rollers, which can instantly evaporate 30% of the water in the linen.
● The drying cylinder is made of high-quality boiler carbon steel, whose thermal conductivity is 2.5 times that of stainless steel. The wall thickness of the drying cylinder is 11-12mm, and the heat storage is large, which can ensure that the linen is evenly heated.
● In addition, the wrapping angle of the linen reaches 270 degrees. The contact area between the drying cylinder and the surface of the cloth is larger so that the water evaporation rate is faster.
Linen with higher moisture content should be first evaporated a part of the water, and then smoothly enter the tank hot. It can avoid the difficulty of pre-drying before ironing because of the low dehydration rate in some laundry plants.
The designs of the roller and chest
❑ Designs of rollers
The surface of the roller drying cylinder in front of the CLM roller+chest ironer is treated by the chrome-plated grinding process. The surface is smooth and does not easily adhere to stains, which lays a good foundation for the speed and flatness of ironing.
Two groups of drying cylinders have a double-sided ironing design, so that the linen can be heated on both sides, especially the quilt covers can have a higher flatness.
Each group of ironing belts is equipped with an automatic adjustment device, that can automatically adjust the ironing belt tightening. All the tightening ironing belts are the same, avoiding traces of ironing belts.
❑ Design of flexible chests
The curved plate and heating cavity arc plate in the two flexible ironing chests at the back of the CLM roll+chest ironer are made of stainless steel sheet. Their thickness is the same, so the expansion amount is the same when heated.
Also, the circular surface elasticity is large, after being squeezed by the suction drum, the inner arc plate and the suction drum can be completely fitted.
The perforated structure of the air duct surface, stable steam flow, and consistent longitudinal pressure of the air duct make linen after ironing highly flat and smooth.
Conclusion
