Cause of the problem
1. Excessive washing load: Washing more than the standard capacity of the machine will cause uneven force on the linens during the washing process, increase friction between fibers, and cause the linens to pill.
2. Washing temperature is too high: High washing temperature can damage the fiber and cause pilling.
3. Mixed washing problem: Towels and bedding are washed together. Linen of different materials rub against each other during the washing process, which can easily cause pilling.
4. Use heavy detergents: Some detergents with strong detergency are often strongly alkaline products, which can damage the cotton fibers of the fabric and cause the cotton fibers to pill.
5. Improper washing method: Washing too vigorously can also cause pilling of linens.
Solutions
1. Control the amount of washing: The amount of washing should be the load standard of the machine’s capacity. Too much or too little will affect the washing intensity of the linens and cause the linens to pill.
2. Control the washing temperature: The washing temperature should be controlled at around 70°C when washing with water.
3. Avoid mixed washing: Strictly control the sorting process to avoid mixing towels and bedding.
4. Pay attention to pH value: When washing fabrics, pay attention to pH value, and the alkalinity should not be too strong. Some detergents with strong detergency are often strong alkaline products, which can damage the cotton fibers of the fabrics and cause the cotton fibers to pill.
5. Use gentle washing method: Except for some stubborn stains that require manual treatment and strong washing, the gentle washing method should generally be used.
