The steam consumption in these processes depends on the amount of water used in washing, the moisture content of the linens after dehydration, and the energy consumption of the dryer.
In addition, the amount of water used for washing is also a major aspect of the cost expenditure of a laundry plant. The water consumption of ordinary industrial washing machines is generally 1:20 (1 kg of linen consumes 20 kg of water), while the water consumption of tunnel washer systems is relatively low, but the difference in how much lower each brand is is different. This is related to its design. Reasonable recycled water design can achieve the goal of significantly saving washing water.
